[Answer: I'll just do ice skating as an example.
Friction, though is considered negligible on ice (since ice is assumed to be smooth and frictionless), does slow the skater down when there are bumps and skate marks present on the ice over time. Friction is in the opposite direction of movement of the skates, as it attempts to slow the skater down (though the skater probably won't notice it). Just do something similar for the other ones.]
